Ecofont - digital green
Krista showed me a pretty cool little innovation in the green space that surprised me for how clever it is: ecofont.
It's a font that has little holes punched in it that reduces ink usage by 20% (reportedly). Pretty cool little idea that could have a fairly significant effect at scale. Here's a photo of it:
Pretty awesome little idea that can have a pretty big impact on the world.

ZZZZ...is this how you intend to begin a new year of blogging? BOR-RING! I want to hear about your trip to S.C., starting with your brief visit with the two coolest people {well, four} that you've ever met, AND I want to see pics of the beach! Get crackin'!
maybe someone can now create paper with little holes in it and reduce paper usage by 20%...think of all the brazilian rain forests we could save...oh my!
:p
@LWB: look, you have to ease back into things; I wanted to do a quick post to get back into it. I have so much work stuff to do right now that I'm trying to scale slowly back! Give me a break!
@JHB: that's a brilliant idea. or just thinner paper?
Or perhaps a device that allows you to view the printed word without using actual paper at all.

@Riles--even better! that device at the end though has to be a conceptual device, not actual (like the printer-like thing earlier in the video).
pretty amazing. weird thing is that device will probably be real in 20 years.
